I had been very busy lately.Pastry orders, catering and cocktail parties are always in my agenda and so does shopping for raw materials as we always pick our things fresh from a reputable grocer so there are a lot of running around involve.

I'm dreaming of Afghanistan

Yesterday ,Absolute Gourmet had guests for the movie screening called Afghan Chronicles by Dominic Morisette , I think its a great one as I've always been interested/intrigued by anything Afghanistan, and rebuilding it.
The canapes menu was handpicked by pleasant host- The Canadian High Commission.

Smoked salmon on lime and dill mayo
Roasted tomatoes and goat's cheese
Curry coriander
Chocolate cakes


Throughout my entire cooking career, I had cooked for several international singers and movie stars , but yesterday was something else.I got back into cooking few months ago , and it was nice when people said to you that you still got it especially from your client.

Anyway

I am glad that everything went well.He autographed the poster and I will definitely hang it on my wall .

Sudden celebration

A very Happy Birthday to Siti who came out of a sudden to celebrate her birthday last Saturday with her friends.Her birthday was actually yesterday (Monday) and I hope that she had a great time celebrating it .

We sell cakes in slices , but we also accept cake ,pastries and sweet orders for wedding door gifts,hampers, birthdays etc.
